Highly polar pesticides in mushrooms (P1805-RT)

Comprehensive proficiency tests should include the entire analytical procedure, the sample pretreatment, sample preparation as well as the instrumental analysis.

Ring test P1805-RT is designed to meet this aim.
PROOF-ACS offers 500 g of whole spiked mushrooms as test material. The mushrooms are individually spiked with the highly polar pesticides mentioned below. However, due to the specific type of spiking, all laboratories will receive comparable test samples.

Highly polar pesticides within the scope of the test are

  • a selection of BAC C8 to C18
  • a selection of DDAC C8 to C12
  • Chlormequat and mepiquat
  • Chlorate
  • Glyphosate
  • Nicotine

The analytical data are evaluated with respect to

  • the comparability (z-score), and
  • the trueness (70 to 120% of the spiked level).
