Mycotoxins in whole-grain pasta (DON, ZEA, T-2, HT-2, enniatins, ergot alkaloids)

The ring test is designed to cover the most relevant mycotoxins in pasta.

The pasta is milled and tested for "incurred" mycotoxins. Further mycotoxins within the scope of the test are spiked to the material. The unspiked material is provided as blank material upon request.

The basic module is focussed on the well established mycotoxins DON, T-2, HT-2, and ZEA. Concentration levels of DON, T-2, and HT-2 are low in accordance with the new MRLs. The basic module is included in the costs of the ring test.

as add-ons at additional costs.

The analytical data are assessed with respect to

• the correct identification of the enniatins and ergot alkaloids,
• the comparability (z-score), and
• the trueness (70 to 120% of the spiked level, for spiked mycotoxins only).
