Pesticides and antibiotics in honey

The ring test is focussed on the most relevant pesticides and antibiotics in honey. The scope is provided in advance.

The analytical data are assessed with respect to

• the correct identification of the pesticides and antibiotics,
• the comparability (z-score), and
• the trueness (70 to 120% of the spiked level, as far as applicable).

Pesticides covered by this test are common multi-residue methods, which are relevant for the matrix honey, and glyphosate.

Selected antibiotics of the subgroups aminoglycosides, amphenicols, dapson, nitrofurans, nitroimidazoles, macrolides, quinolones, sulfonamides, and tetracyclines are spiked to the honey sample.
