Chamomile tea - pyrrolizidine alkaloids

The chamomile tea is milled, homogenised, and spiked with

• europine,
• heliotrine-N-oxide,
• retrorsine-N-oxide,
• senecionine,
• seneciphylline-N-oxide,
• senecivernine-N-oxide, and
• senkirkine.

The chamomile tea contains intermedine as incurred PA.

The specification of the reference material includes the comparability of results (z-score criterion) as well as the trueness criterion (70 to 120 % of the spiked level).
